Since the 1990s, some large and medium-sized cities, especially the coastal open cities, have successively implemented bilingual education with the bilingual languages of Chinese and foreign languages as their medium of instruction in the basic education stage, aiming at cultivating much-needed bilingual talents in the construction of a modern city. Implementation of bilingual education, curriculum system construction is the core. The broad bilingual curriculum system covers all kinds of courses with Chinese and foreign languages as the medium of education.
