书籍封面设计是决定书籍外在形态的手段,它主要指书籍外观的一种视觉表现。书籍封面设计如何更好地突出设计的区域民族特色,这是设计从业者多年来努力探索的课题。纵观新疆汉文出版物在封面设计上的得失,可以看出,一味地描摹民族生活的某些特征而忽视作品意象存在的、本质的美,作品就很难达到理想的艺术境界。本文对封面设计者的艺术追求、设计的实用性等问题,作了较深入的探讨。
Book cover design is to determine the external form of the book means it mainly refers to a visual appearance of book appearance. How book cover design can better highlight the regional ethnic characteristics of design has been a subject that design practitioners have worked hard to explore over the years. Looking at the pros and cons of the cover design of the Chinese publications in Xinjiang, we can see that it is hard to achieve the desired artistic realm by blindly tracing some of the features of the national life and neglecting the essential beauty of the artwork. This article made a deep discussion on the art of the cover designer, the practicality of the design and so on.
