The first meeting of two Greek civilizations, conflicts and mergers took place in the late Greek and Roman periods. The collision of these two very different and heterogeneous cultures has brought many interesting phenomena. Laid the seeds for the future development of Western European culture, and laid seeds for its contradictions and tensions.
