新世纪大学英语综合教程由于具有较强的可读性和欣赏性,因而深受高校师生的好评。在教学过程中,发现语篇中出现了不少的低调陈述现象,使得学生在理解上必须建立新的联想链。为了帮助学生尽快理解并能得体地在口语和口译中运用这一必不可少的沟通手段,本文详细阐述了低调陈述的形成方式和丰富的语义,以及运用低调陈述的意义和条件。
New Century College English Integrated Course due to its strong readability and appreciation, which won the praise of college teachers and students. During the teaching process, many low-key statements appeared in discourse so that students must establish a new association chain in their understanding. In order to help students quickly understand and properly apply this essential communication method in spoken and oral interpretation, this article elaborates on the formation and rich semantics of low-key statements and the significance and conditions for using low-key statements.
