A new perspective on the method of cultivating innovative talents

  Recently, rapid development of social economy and culture, the direct expression of the spirit of the university teachers is the scientific research. Only walking in the technological forefront, teachers can transfer the latest and the most advanced knowledge to students, maximize inspire the innovation consciousness of college students. Therefore, universities should not only give teachers the innovative platform and opportunity to promote their scientific research strength, but also create a scientific atmosphere to encourage innovation. Secondly, many teachers in the colleges have a lot of young engineering doctoral students. Although they have mastered a large number of modern new knowledge and active thinking, strong ability to adapt, but these new teachers are lack of engineering practice background. Therefore, colleges and universities can per year recommend some young teachers to enterprises or production line to go on attachment training, to enhance its practical ability. Once more, a lot of engineering teachers have professional background, they are the main force of the academic research, but many professional teachers did not through the system of teaching skill training, teaching skills is not enough, which is not conducive to they use a variety of innovative teaching methods to train students’ innovative consciousness and creativity. Finally, college teachers should continue to strengthen their own moral cultivation and personal charm. Many university teachers only pay attention to scientific research, ignore the cultivation of their own self-cultivation and personal charm. The impact of excellent teachers on students is not only reflected in the discipline of the professional guidance, but also reflected in their pursuit of science, devotion to science, rigorous scholarship to do the spirit and thinking, research methods. Students learn from these excellent teachers are not only scientific knowledge, but also how to treating the life, these will have a profound impact on the development of students.
  The cultivation of innovative talents, greatly depend on t the quality of university education environment and the campus culture, college students subtly influence by the campus cultural atmosphere, tolerant, liberal arts, loyalty environment is the soil of innovative talents of university. The humanistic environment of the university greatly affects the quality of the talents trained by the University. University campus culture is a with a powerful “hidden curriculum”, every college students enhances the mission through the campus culture, so that they learn to respect science, advocating science, scientific exploration; So that they understand the relationship between personal mission and national, ethnic, human development; let them form integrity, kindness, noble morality and socialist concept of honor and disgrace view; let them have generous, inclusive, the tolerance of all rivers run into sea . At the same time, the humanistic environment of the university must be brought into the concept of respect for knowledge and talent.   In 2006, the meeting “training scientific and technological talents, fully implement the principle of respecting work, knowledge, competent people and creation. So good humanistic environment should be tolerant of different views, different voices can correctly deal with criticism, do “not only up, not only the right”, focus on the training of students dare to quest and criticize spirit, only in this constant battle and continual debate, develop academic faster, so students can learn from the creativity of nutrients. Today, China is now standing at a new historical starting point, need more innovative talents, universities shouldering the historical mission of cultivating innovative talents. Therefore, higher engineering colleges should constantly improve the training mode of innovative talents, for the country and the people to cultivate more talents, conveying more fresh blood.
