十八大召开的时候南方报业集团派了60多名采编人员组成北京的报道团队,我作为前方的总领队,能够比较近距离的接触党代表,观察十八大代表,应该说很荣幸,同时压力也很大。11月13日下午,汪洋书记、小丹省长和各位省领导专门给记者们助力,去看望记者,表扬广东媒体的十八大报道又快又好。在北京近距离的观察十八大,我有两点直观的感受跟大家分享:第一,我们党更加自信,更加强盛。特别是新一届政治局常委和中外记者见面会,习近平总书记的讲话平实、淡定,给人印象非常深刻,这点也是国际媒体一致的看法。

In the close observation of the 18th National Congress in Beijing, I have two intuitive points of view to share with you: First, our party is more confident and more prosperous. In particular, the new Politburo Standing Committee meeting with Chinese and foreign reporters, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech was solid, calm, giving a very impressive impression, which is also the consensus of the international media.
