Change can be said to be the deepest feeling of our time. The speed and span of life, culture, digestion, integration and reconstruction all surpass any one era. The most touching “change” is our generation in today’s China. From material conditions and living environment to cultural concepts, changes are self-evident. Conflict and integration of Chinese and Western cultures have also left us at a loss However, if the change is too great or too much, we will no longer expect eternal, but will accept eternal change. It can be said that we are a bit unsurprisingly! As for the new ink and wash, after going through the courageous and arduous exploration of generations of predecessors, we have gradually calmed down and are no longer struggling with the basic bondage of Western painting nor are we entangled in the West The modern and abstract language embodies embarrassment and paleness in ink and wash. We have adjusted our attitudes toward Western contemporary art and adjusted our attitude towards the tradition. They are unswervingly and generously turning to more insight and attention to self and the times. Self-growth to reach deeper cultural clues.
