The distribution of nonmetallic inclusions in 45 steel was studied by means of metallographic observation, scanning electron microscopy, electron probe and large sample electrolysis. The results show that LF refining can promote the removal of non-metallic inclusions, but there is suction in the casting process, resulting in the mass fraction of TO and N in the slab being 19.32 × 10-6 and 43.46 × 10-6 respectively; The particle size is smaller and the volume fraction is 0.027%. The microscopic inclusions in the molten steel are mainly inclusions of oxides, sulfides, calcium aluminate and aluminosilicate, which are typical products of deoxidation and desulphurization. The main inclusions are mainly composed of calcium aluminate and aluminosilicate inclusions; the content of large inclusions in molten steel and in 10kg slab respectively reach 18.92mg and 12.53mg, mainly Si O2, aluminosilicate and calcium silicate Acid salt complex inclusions, including aluminosilicate composite inclusions higher content.
