肠病毒71近来在亚洲作为一种重要的嗜神经病毒出现在人群中,目前还没有有效的药物疗法以及抗EV71疫苗可以利用。根据灭活脊灰疫苗的成功事实,能够开发出基于Vero细胞的化学灭活EV71疫苗候选物。
Enteroviral 71 has recently appeared in the population in Asia as an important neurotropic virus, and no effective pharmacotherapy and no anti-EV71 vaccine are currently available. Based on the success of inactivated polio vaccine, a Vero cell-based chemical inactivated EV71 vaccine candidate can be developed.
