In 1949, the rumbling of the guns of the Liberation War broke through the silence of the long night, bloody, shrouded the banks of the river. In the purgatory of blood and fire, a Kuomintang official risked his life to break out of the reactionary barracks and meet the dawn. He is the proud pupil of Chiang Ching-kuo and former governor of Zhabei District of the KMT, Wang Zhiping. Wang Zhiping short stature London, more than eighty days, the lumbar plate is still tall and straight. The retired party veteran who enjoys retiring from his later years has successively served as a member of the CPPCC National Committee in Zhabei District, vice chairman and member of the CPPCC and is now a librarian of the City of Literature and History Research Hall. Now, whenever Wang Zhiping displays “Revolt Certificates” issued by the Nanjing Military Region of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, he always thinks of himself half a century ago to abandon the darkness to welcome the flames of liberation of Zhabei.
