1996年12月16日顺义ML4．5地震是北京地区地震活动平静6a之后发生的一组较大的活动，也是首都困地区1995年7月沙城展群后又一组显著地震，其对首都圈地区的震情发展有一定的影响。根据北京地震遥测台网所记录到的顺义地震的目录，在序列追踪的基础上讨论分析了此次地震活动的时序特征，顺义地区地震活动的特点、规律及其与首都留其它地区地震活动的关系。
December 16, 1996 The Shunyi ML4.5 earthquake is a series of large events that occurred after the seismic activity in the Beijing area was calm. It is also a significant earthquake after the Shacheng Pavilion in July 1995 in the sleepy capitals of the capital. Regional earthquake development has a certain impact. According to the catalog of Shunyi Earthquake recorded by the Beijing Earthquake Telemetry Network, the sequence characteristics of the earthquake activity, the characteristics and laws of the seismic activity in Shunyi area and their seismic activities in the rest of the capital are discussed and analyzed on the basis of the sequence tracing relationship.
