素有“川鄂咽喉”之称的宜昌市是三峡大坝所在地,特殊的地理环境和地理条件把宜昌林业推向了重要位置。近几年来,宜昌市高举生态环境建设大旗,紧紧围绕林业“两大体系”建设,形成了新的林业生态格局。对此,记者专门采访了宜昌市林业局局长刘先新。记者:刘局长,在全国生态建设规划中,宜昌市是重点建设区域和优先启动实施的地区。到目前为止,宜昌的生态环境建设进展如何? 刘局长:我市森林资源丰富。全市林业用地面积124万公顷,占国土面积的59%,有林地面积84万公顷;森林覆盖率达到48.5%,
