布拉格国际演出设计与空间四年展是世界上规模最大和最具影响力的舞台美术展之一,其展出内容囊括了舞台和服装设计图、舞台设计和剧场建筑模型、剧照、录像及涉及舞台美术和剧场建筑的文献等,代表了世界舞台美术的最新发展潮流,包括了世界上大多国家的演剧发展现状。但随着这一国际舞美展的诞生,也产生了一个问题,即在戏剧艺术时空因素缺失的情况下,舞台美术能否被展出?通过观察布拉格国际演出设计与空间四年展可以看出,舞台美术在展厅里找到了更为广阔的表达空间。
