At the very beginning of the establishment of the Nanjing National Government, Luo Jialun, former secretary of Chiang Kai-shek, worked hard to defeat the mighty leader and became the president of Tsinghua University. He endeavored to make every effort and resources, organized high-level teaching groups and academic centers, promoted Tsinghua’s profound changes and laid a solid foundation for his future growth as a university of excellence. However, with regard to the issue of the ruling party’s entry into Tsinghua, most of the current studies did not properly collect certain relevant documents and mistakenly named Luo as headmaster “without any knowledge” and subsequently “single-handedly” A long Qinghua. Through in-depth examination, we can confirm that this is not a fact. The analysis of this typical case will help researchers to find out the relevant facts and clarify the relevant historical facts, and promote the academic circles to carry out more detailed and detailed screening and selection of historical documents (including “authority”).
