椰子红棕象甲(Rhynchophorus ferrugineus Fab.)是椰子的主要害虫。红棕象甲的为害仅局限在树干时,采用有效的方法防治尚可挽救植株。在象甲为害部位的上方钻孔,灌入1.0％Pyrocon-E溶液或1.0％西维因悬浮液能有效地控制象甲为害。在树洞里放置1或2片磷化铝亦是有希望的防治方法。本文报道往树干注射杀虫剂原液防治椰
