《新疆农业科学》创刊于1958年,是由新疆农科院、新疆农业大学、新疆农学会主办的综合性农业学术刊物,是新疆乃至全国创办最早的科技刊物之一。它刊登的论文涵盖作物育种与栽培、植物保护、土壤肥料、农田水利、畜牧兽医、园艺特产、林业、奶业、农业机械、微生物、农副产品加工、生物技术、基因工程等学科领域。2003年,《新疆农业科学》获得中国科技核心期刊、第三届新疆期刊奖、自治区一级期刊等称号。46年来,《新疆农业科学》坚持“繁荣农业科学、促进农业生产”的办刊宗旨,贯彻“以提高为主”的方针,突出新疆干早、半干旱、荒漠绿洲及绿洲农业的特色,全面介绍新疆农业科研的前沿科研水平,例如,新成果、新品种、新技术、特色大农业及名优特产等。2001至2003年,刊物本着“科技面向生产与经济建设”的原则,围绕新疆重大农业科研的研究动态进行报道,结合西部大开发和“十五”期间新疆农业科研、生产、推广、开发等项目,进一步介绍新疆农业科研的成果,加强了地区之间农业项目的交流与合作。
Founded in 1958, Xinjiang Agricultural Sciences is a comprehensive agricultural academic journal hosted by Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xinjiang Agricultural University and Xinjiang Agricultural Association. It is one of the earliest scientific and technological journals in Xinjiang and the whole country. Its published papers cover fields such as crop breeding and plant protection, soil fertilizers, farmland water conservancy, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, horticultural products, forestry, dairy industry, agricultural machinery, microbe, processing of agricultural and sideline products, biotechnology and genetic engineering. In 2003, “Xinjiang Agricultural Sciences” won the title of China Science and Technology Core Journals, the Third Xinjiang Journals Prize and the Autonomous Region Journals of First Class.
