印度实行多种考试并存的高考制度,有几种全国性的高校入学考试,地方高校和部分国家重点院校有单独的招生考试。由于优质教育资源紧缺,印度顶级高等院校和公立学院的入学考试竞争激烈。虽然印度高考制度较好地保障了高校的招生自主权,并且在一定程度上兼顾了教育公平与效率,但是却丧失了全国统一选拔高校生源的诸多便利。
There are several national college entrance exams in India, where colleges and some national key institutions have separate entrance examinations. Due to the scarcity of high-quality education resources, India’s top universities and public colleges have fierce competition for entrance exams. Although the Indian college entrance examination system better protects the autonomy of college enrollment, and to some extent, taking into account the fairness and efficiency of education, but it has lost the country a lot of convenience of selecting college students source.
