There are two buildings not far from each other. One has paid attention to the drainage during construction, and has also paid attention to the waterproof design requirements for water supply and drainage. It has been safe and sound since it was completed. The other building did not pay attention to these problems during construction, and had experienced quality problems such as rainwater tanking, water supply and drainage, and water leakage. Shortly after its completion, the building had serious cracks and must be repaired and reinforced. What are the different consequences of this? The main foreman of the previous building read the engineering geological survey report in detail. He knew that about 6 meters below the ground, there was a layer of large-pore collapsible loess, in the conclusion of the report. Specifically pointed out: In the design, we should consider the collapsible loess in the construction, we must carefully make drainage and waterproof measures, in the words of the foreman: “I listened to the views of geological workers.”
