我们受荷兰鹿特丹市图书馆馆长舒茨先生的邀请,于1992年12月1日至5日访问了荷兰,回程时又顺访了法国,这次访问主要是考察两国的图书馆建筑和自动化。实际上考察的范围很广泛,涉及图书馆的方方面面,开阔了视野,对现代图书馆有了初步的认识。但由于时间仓促,再加上语言障碍(只有一名译员),所见所闻有限,认识得很肤浅,甚至可能有误解之处。
At the invitation of Mr. Schutz, Director of the Rotterdam City Library, Netherlands, we visited the Netherlands from December 1 to 5, 1992, and returned to France on the return trip, mainly on the study of the library buildings and automation. In fact, the scope of the investigation is very broad, involving all aspects of the library, broadening horizons and having a preliminary understanding of the modern library. However, due to time constraints, coupled with language barriers (only one translator), what they have seen and heard, superficial acquaintances, and possibly even misunderstandings.
