英语教学的目的是学习语言,而语言体现着各民族的不同生活方式、生活用语,包含着不同民族的文化内涵,由此可见文化背景介绍是英语教学中的重要组成部分,因文化差异,而导致英语交流中的用词差异,口语交际语境及语言阅读中不同文化背景的介绍是不可取代的一部分,文化背景教学有助于学生理解和运用正宗地道的语言。
