作爲中國哲學史上的重要理論問題之一,知行問題的提出可以向上進行更爲久遠的追溯,並且在不同的哲學流派和哲學家那裏,知行問題都被廣泛地涉及到。①然而正如蒙培元先生指出的那樣:“理學産生以前的歷代哲學家,特别是儒家,從道德實踐的角度,不斷地討論過知行關係的問題。佛教哲學從宗教實踐,如定慧、止觀、戒行等方面討論到這個問題。但他們都没有就知行關係進行系統的論述。只有理學産生以後,這對範疇纔獲得了更重要的認識論、方法論意義。”②由此可見,正是在理學那裏,知行
