English learning can broaden your horizons and exercise your thinking. However, for senior middle schools in rural areas, students’ English learning is restricted by many factors and becomes a weak subject for most of the students. This has a serious impact on the promotion of rural students, employment and improvement of the quality of rural population. In view of the actual situation, it explores the factors restricting the improvement of senior high school students’ English proficiency.
