“八五”期间,中国建设银行宁夏分行沐浴着党的改革开放的春风,坚持“面向市场抓机遇,立足改革求发展”的工作方针,推动各项工作蓬勃发展。经过多年的努力,全行已发展成为拥有100多亿元资产,40多亿元存款,3000多名职工队伍,46个分支机构,200多个储蓄网点,服务功能齐全,资金实力较为雄厚的国有商业银行。“八五”期间,宁夏建行以“筹资立行,等资兴行”为主线,积极开辟渠道,创新品种,形成了企业存款、储蓄存款、房改资金、信用卡存款、外币存款、证券筹资等全方位的筹资格局,进一步壮大了资金实力。到今年二月末,全行一般性存款金额达到418716万元,比1990年增加了33.51亿元,是“七五”期间的4倍。存款的市场位次由原来屈居全区金融机构的最后一位,上升到第二位。
