叙述了１９９８年华北强震的时、空、强特点，研究了中蒙地震带的形成，华北和东北未来发展趋势及其间的关系等。得出１９９９年及其以后，华北及邻区的地震活动趋势是华北的周围边角地带仍比内部稍高的结论。
The characteristics of time, space and strength of the strong earthquakes in North China in 1998 are described. The formation of the Sino-Mongolian seismic belt, the future development trend in North China and Northeast China and the relations between them are discussed. It is concluded that the trend of seismic activity in North China and its neighboring areas since 1999 and beyond is that the surrounding corner of North China is still slightly higher than its interior.
