自鸦片战争以来,伴随着社会的快速变革以及西方美学思想的不断入侵,我国传统美术经历了曲折的创新与发展之路,被称为“中国美术的现代转型”。这不仅对当前美术创作和美学思想产生了深远的影响,而且涉及我国现代美术的根源问题,因此,对于20世纪中国美术现代转型的路径研究一直是海内外艺术界和文化界关注的焦点课题。笔者通过收集和整理有关“中国美术现代转型”的相关资料,系统地论述了中国美术现代转型的路径状况,尤其是所经历的两次重大转型的背景与成果等,从而对我国美术发展与变革的历程有清楚的认识。
