抗日战争时期,在共产党领导的抗日根据地,大量革命题材的新歌谣被创作出来并广为流传。这些歌谣既有普通民众战争亲历下的自发创作,也有文艺工作者根据宣传需要的应时之作。根据地的歌谣创作表现出强烈的革命性和时代性。革命歌谣的创作最大限度地继承和发扬传统歌谣的艺术表现形式,保留歌谣原有的美学特征。正因如此,这些新歌谣才能在民众间持久传唱,并在社会动员方面发挥出文字宣传难以企及的积极作用。
During the period of the War of Resistance Against Japan, a large number of new ballads of revolutionary themes were created and widely circulated in the Anti-Japanese Base Area under the leadership of the Communist Party. These ballads not only experienced the spontaneous creation under the ordinary public wars, but also made timely requests for literary and artistic workers according to their propaganda needs. The songs and songs of the base areas showed a strong revolutionary and epoch-making character. The creation of revolutionary ballads inherits and carries forward the artistic expression of traditional ballads to the utmost extent and preserves the original aesthetic characteristics of ballads. It is for this reason that these new folk songs can be sung continuously among the people and play an active role in social mobilization that is hard to match with word of mouth.
