这里发表两篇缅怀著名科学史家钱宝琮先生的文章，作者钱熙、钱燕是钱宝琮先生的女儿，两文均系１９９１年所作。文字不长，但字里行间不仅充满了父女亲情，而且真实地反映了钱先生抗战前后的生活、工作情况。透过这些具体事例，人们可以领略到钱先生不畏艰辛，豁达乐观的生活态度；对子女、学生亲切关怀，教书育人的精神；严以律己，以身作则，忠于事业的思想品质；热爱祖国，顾全大局，一心为公的精神境界，……这是研究钱宝琮先生治学、工作、律己、为人的宝贵史料，特刊于此，以纪念先生诞辰１０５周年。
Two articles honoring Mr. Qian Baoji, a famous scientist of science, are published here. The author Qian Xi and Qian Yan are the daughter of Mr. Qian Baojian, both of whom were all made in 1991. The text is not long, but the lines between the lines are not only full of father and daughter affection, but also a true reflection of Mr. Qian’s life and work before and after the war. Through these concrete examples, one can appreciate Mr. Qian’s attitude of taking a daunt and painstaking efforts and upholding optimism. He cares fondly of children and students and teaches and educates people. He is strict in himself, leading by example, and loyal to the ideological qualities of his career.
