A few articles have been published by the authors about the miniaturized tactical crystal oscillator (TMXO) and its most important design features. This article describes the performance of earlier TMXO prototypes. In addition, we talked about some of the results that are sufficient to reflect the latest components using SC-cut crystals, with a focus on changing the structure to improve the internal structural properties. Finally, a useful test oscillator, use it to identify the crystal quality. In summary, several qualification results for the initial TMXO prototype show that several key performance metrics for the prototype have been achieved. For those indicators that have not reached their intended performance, improvements have been taken to improve the performance of the prototype. Some of the prototypes recently developed have been specifically improved to prove that changing the structure is effective.
