新型砂矿富集设备是一种新型的选矿设备，又叫淘金机。国内是八十年代初才开始研制的，是砂金矿的理想淘洗、选别设备，对大比重矿物如钨、锡砂也有良好的选别效果。和其他重选设备比较有以下特点：1．选别回收率高；2．富集比大；3．结构简单，操作方便，处理能力大；4．适应粒级较宽。干冲金矿样的小型试验结果表明：在回收率接近的情况下，淘金机富集比是摇床的二倍；粗选成本为跳汰机的60％，回收率比跳汰机高30％以上。
