巴金不一定是属于世界的,但他肯定是属于中华民族的,他的文学作品见证了时代嬗变,见证了中国社会黑暗与光明的交战。巴金晚年提倡“说真话”,致力于《随想录》的创作,对极权社会作出指控式的批判,对自己作了严格的自剖和反思。在此之前,还没有一位作家可以直面自己的弱点包括性格的缺陷而作出深刻的自我批评和省思的,巴金这一自我反戈,是具震撼性的。
Ba Jin does not necessarily belong to the world, but he certainly belongs to the Chinese nation. His literary works have witnessed the evolution of the times and witnessed the engagement between darkness and light in Chinese society. In his later years, Ba Jin advocated “telling the truth” and devoted himself to the creation of “Wandering Records”. He criticized the totalitarian society with allegations of criticism and made a strict self-examination and reflection on himself. Until then, no author has yet to make a profound self-criticism and reflection on his own weaknesses, including the flaws in character. It is shocking that Ba Jin is a self-defeating one.
