李欧梵,1939年生于河南,后随家迁往台湾。1970年获哈佛大学博士学位,先后执教于普林斯顿大学、印第安纳大学、芝加哥大学、加州大学洛杉矶分校,现为哈佛大学荣休教授、香港中文大学讲座教授、台湾中研院院士。著述包括《中国现代作家中浪漫的一代》《铁屋中的呐喊:鲁迅研究》《中西文学的回想》《西潮的彼岸》《狐狸洞话语》《上海摩登》《寻回香港文化》《都市漫游者》《世纪末呓语》《人文六讲》等。自2000年与李老师见面结识以来,我们曾经有过
Li Oufan was born in Henan in 1939 and later moved to Taiwan with his family. He received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1970 and has taught at Princeton University, Indiana University, University of Chicago, University of California, Los Angeles, now Honorary Professor of Harvard University, lecturer of Chinese University of Hong Kong, and academician of Taiwan’s Academia Sinica. The writings include “The Romantic Generation in Modern Chinese Writers”, “Cry in Iron House: Research by Lu Xun,” “Recollections of Chinese and Western Literature,” “The Other Side of the West Tide,” “Fox Cave Talking,” “Shanghai Modern,” “Hong Kong Culture”, “Metropolis Roamer ”“ End of the Century ”“ Humanities six stresses ”and so on.
