丹江口库区是南水北调中线工程重点淹没区、核心水源区,也是整个移民搬迁工作的主战场。2009年以来,库区各县市区齐心协力,攻坚克难,圆满完成了南水北调中线工程移民外迁和内安工作任务。为帮助广大移民群众发展生产、增加收入、安居乐业,确保一库清水永续北送,省十二届人大二次会议上,省人大代表李翔提出了《关于尽快启动丹江口库区
The Danjiangkou Reservoir Area is the key inundation area and the core water source area of the mid-route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and also the main battlefield for the relocation of the entire resettlers. Since 2009, all districts and counties in the reservoir area have made concerted efforts to tackle major difficulties and satisfactorily completed the relocation of migrants to the midline of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project and their internal security work.
