19世纪英国著名教育家赫伯特.斯宾塞曾说:“教育的一个重要目的,就是教会孩子怎样去选择:选择什么样的方法、什么样的专业;发展哪部分爱好,放弃哪些别的爱好。所有这些选择都必须由孩子自己作出。只有做自己选择的事情时,遇到困难时他才能去忍耐、努力,成功的时候也才能真正享受到明智选择的喜悦。”
