运转于1000r/min 左右每缸功率约150kW 的柴油机广泛用于不同的领域,诸如牵引机车、船舶推进,船舶辅机和应急电站等。这种不同用途的柴油机对增压器的要求也是不同的。例如,径流涡轮增压器是一种结构简单而坚实的机组,价格低廉。对于烧重油的柴油机,却宁可采用轴流涡轮增压器,因为它用水来冲洗的效果较好。但在那种小尺寸的涡轮增压器上,轴流涡轮的效率一般比它的竞争者——径流涡轮要低。与之相矛盾的是小型重油柴油机的涡轮增压器应具有尽量高的效率,一所以对小型轴流涡轮的性能进行了大幅度的改进就成为近代重要的发展方向。确保涡轮,也即涡轮增压器,在部分负荷下的性能尤为重要。
Diesel engines operating at about 1000r / min and a power of about 150kW per cylinder are widely used in various fields such as traction locomotives, marine propulsion, marine auxiliary engines and emergency power plants. This different uses of diesel engine supercharger requirements are different. For example, a run-of-turbocharger is a simple, robust unit that is inexpensive. For heavy oil burned diesel engines, preferring to use axial turbochargers, because it is better to use water to wash. But on that small turbocharger, axial turbines are generally less efficient than its competitors, run-of-mill turbines. Paradoxically, turbochargers for small heavy-oil diesel engines should be as efficient as possible. Therefore, a substantial improvement in the performance of small axial turbines has become an important development in modern times. Ensuring performance of turbines, turbochargers, under partial load is especially important.
