兴趣,其实就是人对客观事物的选择性态度,是人对于需要的情绪表现。或者说是指一个人认识和掌握某种事物,并经常参与该种活动的心理倾向。它的分类比较复杂,从内容上划分,可将其分为物质兴趣、精神兴趣和社会兴趣;从兴趣的发生和发展来看,可将其分为直接兴趣和间接兴趣。比如,对组织活动和社会工作产生的兴趣就是社会兴趣;对文化、科学、艺术产生的兴趣就是精神兴趣;在择业过程中,对某种职业需要的情绪表现就是职业兴趣……兴趣的表现形式是复杂多样的。职业心理学家研究指出,一个人一生中选择什么样的职业,兴趣是占主导地位的,有时甚至比能力更重要。兴趣可以使人的求知欲增强,从而朝气蓬勃地去参加工作并积极进行探索,其已成为人们从事职业活动的强有力的动力之一。
