清末民初社会的剧烈变化,使传统的教育理念受到了前所未有的挑战,国民教育的新理念渐渐成为一种教育思潮。军国民教育、实利教育、美感教育等合乎时代发展的先进教育理念为不少社会精英所称道。追求中国政治近代化的孙中山始终没有忘记对人的塑造,他主张求知识与求实用并重,主张人文、社会与自然科学并重,主张先天理性的启发与后天经验的利用和改造并重,主张实行教育平等,主张德、智、体全面发展的近代化教育思想中蕴涵着辩证的思维。
