黄冠龙为安徽省临泉县李湖蔬菜研究所最新育成的一个极早熟、特大果、浅黄皮辣椒新品种。一、该椒果长28~36 cm,个别果可达40 cm,果实光滑顺直、光泽亮丽浅黄,横径4 cm,单果重150~200 g,味辣。二、该椒具有极强的早熟性,且抗寒性突出,耐低温弱光,即耐低温又耐高温。一般门椒着于7~8叶,极易坐果,膨果速度极快,坐果集中,单株结椒可达100-~150个,上下果大小无差异,亩产7500 kg以上。在东三省及河北、山东亩产可达到10000 kg。
