北野武,有“日本电影新天皇”之称,亦是日本导演中坚力量的旗手。《那年夏天宁静的海》带我们回忆了那个夏天的一片大海,一对情侣,一个冲浪板。影片安静与喧嚣并存,大海与蓝天相印,温情与冷漠交替。几乎为默片一般的电影,主人公多以表情与动作传递着情感,以无声震撼人心,虽无言,却情深。北野武的暴力与温情如菊般淡雅,香气似有若无,又如刀般犀利,一针见血酣畅淋漓。
