虚拟博物馆是在信息时代兴起的一种新型的博物馆建构模式,虚拟博物馆超越时空限制,利用数字技术和网络技术,以虚拟现实、三维空间、图像、声音、超文本链接等多媒体的方式,成为参观者浏览和了解博物馆信息的新方式,是文化遗产的保护、研究、开发和利用在新形势下的产物。戏曲艺术是我国重要的非物质文化遗产,但是目前我国形成规模的戏曲博物馆还没有。本文对当前实体戏曲博物馆的现状进行了分析,阐明了建设虚拟戏曲博物馆的重要意义,对虚拟戏曲博物馆的设计思路进行了思考,重点阐述了全景技术、虚拟现实技术在虚拟戏曲博物馆建设中的应用及表现,以及“云计算”技术将在建设虚拟戏曲博物馆中发挥的作用与意义。
