The application of information technology in the digital age has a profound impact on many aspects of translation activities. The translation industry is experiencing a digital revolution and translation studies are facing new challenges arising from digital innovation. “The Translation in the Digital Age” interprets the digital revolution of this translation with its unique theoretical perspective and puts forward many new topics in translation studies. It is a book of great academic significance. This article first analyzes the creative background of this book, then elaborates on the five major topics in the book, and finally comments on its academic contributions and shortcomings.
