Tangxi Town, located in the northern part of Hangzhou City, borders on Deqing County in Huzhou City, about 20 kilometers away from downtown area and about 13 kilometers away from Linping, where the district government is located. The famous Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the town to make it the capital of Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jia, Lake waterways to Tianjin, dynasties since Tang Dynasty, Hangzhou are the water portal.
