In May 1998, we were invited to participate in the international bidding competition for the famous mountainous city of China, Jiangbei New City in Chongqing. Chongqing is a newly established municipality directly under the Central Government in China and an important industrial city, transportation hub, and trade port in the western region of China. Jiangbei New Town is the main expansion area of Chongqing after becoming a municipality directly under the central government. It is the administrative center, cultural and arts center of Chongqing in the future.
