1993年,各级卫生部门要继续贯彻党在社会主义初级阶段的基本路线,坚持“预防为主,依靠科技进步、动员全社会参与、中西医并重、为人民健康服务”的卫生工作方针,围绕《卫生事业第八个五年计划及2000年规划设想》确定的卫生工作主要目标、任务和重点,不断总结经验,坚持改革开放,以加强农村卫生和预防保健为中心,努力开展各项卫生工作。
