辽宁省鞍山市地方史志办公室离休干部邵长兴先生,今年84岁,参加工作60余年。先从事新闻工作14年,任新华社记者,曾在中央人民广播电台、中国国际广播电台工作,走遍大江南北,采写编发各类稿件上万篇;然后从事教育工作22年;最后从事地方史志工作28年,发表文章300多篇。最让大家敬佩的是他离休后20多年来,一个人年年遴选编发《中国地方志十件大事》、《中国地方综合年鉴十件大事》、《中国地方综合年鉴要闻录》、《中国新版方志学年鉴学暨相关编著述略》、《中国地方志全国性、区域性、行业性活动要览》,跑遍神州访志友,主编出版《当代中国志坛群星集》。对促进中国当代方志事业的发展起到很大作用。
