The province’s forestry discounted loan project management meeting was held on June 16-17 in Dabaogou, Shaanxi Province. The comrades reviewed the effectiveness of lending management over the past decade, arranged the implementation of the three subsidized loans in 1998 and the declaration of the loan program in 1999 and the financial discount fund plan. The three subsidized loans for forestry refer to the discount loans for forestry projects, the discount loans for desertification control and the discounted loans for the comprehensive development of mountainous areas. It is an important policy loan for the state to support the development of forestry and an important source of funds for the nationwide forestry production and construction.
