Suozhou, a little unknow town of Shanxi ten years ago, has now developed into a famous new modern city of energy resources.Statistics show that the annual rate of the city’s gross productin is 12. 8%, i. e its gross production has been increased from 2O06 million RMB since the city’s founding in 1989 to 8300 million RMB in 1998.According to the Statistics, the eity’s annual gross production per capita is at present 558l RMB, while the output value, as well as the taxes and profits of its enterprises are all twice ’ that of 1989.Meanwhile, its minicipal construction such as the road net and the net of water supply & drainage system, has been grandually improved,and its service trade is becoming more and more developed.
