宁都县高低岭电站,水头120米,装机800千瓦。一九七二年冬动工,一九七四年投产。电站的主要建筑物是二条直径50厘米的引水压力管。要建设承受这么大水头的引水管,过去按常规必须用钢管。需投资10万元,8毫米厚的钢板70吨。这样多的投资和钢材,在当时对我们来说是无法解决的。当我们了解到用予应力混凝土管可以代替钢管这一技术情报后,就积极引进这一新技术。
