执政的中国共产党,担负着维护社会稳定、创造安定和谐的改革和发展环境的重任。公安机关和广大民警则是承担和实施这一执政职能的重要力量之一。本刊记者在建党80周年之际采访了公安部部长贾春旺,贾部长动情地说,实践证明,公安队伍是一支党和人民完全可以信赖的、有战斗力的队伍,已成为维护社会稳定的坚强的共和国之盾。
The ruling Communist Party of China is charged with the task of safeguarding social stability and creating a stable and harmonious environment for reform and development.
