According to the German Nuclear Forum, improvements in steam turbines have made German nuclear power plants produce more electricity, especially in the past two years. Certain nuclear power plants in Germany increased the total generating capacity of German nuclear power plants by about 300 MW due to the installation of new turbine blades and improved steam flow. This allows Germany’s nuclear power generating units to generate as much as 2 billion kilowatts per year
