问4:均衡器的作用是什么?它有哪些种类?答:均衡器是一种频率特性与电缆损耗特性相反的无源器件,它对高频信号衰减小,对低频信号衰减大,并对传输信号总体幅度造成一定的衰减。它的作用是:在一定频率范围内用于补偿电缆传输衰减的频率特性,以达到均衡高、低频道输出电平一致的目的。均衡器一般安装在进入放大器之前,对电缆衰减的频率特性给予适当的补偿,再在均衡器的输出端设置一个具有平坦特性的放大器,即可将信号电平恢复到原来的水平,如图2所示。
